I just finished my phone interview with the hospital. Everything went great. I'm excited but still cautious. Nothing is final until they offer the job.
The recruter asked me about my previous jobs and experience as a Sterile Processing Tech. What hospitals I've worked at and the two retail jobs I held. They've already started my background check (no surprises there). The recruter told me they started my background check early because she knew she'd be interviewing me today. But I kinda got the impression that they don't normally do that. She told me they should get that information back later today or early tomorrow morning then my app will be sent to the director of the department. That director will then call me to set up a face-to-face interview. I'm hoping later this week or early part of next week.
The only snag is that I'm not certified yet and they will have trouble verifying my employment at Osteopathic hospital. That's because they closed in October of last year and it's near impossible to get records of employment from there. I told the recruter that I was taking classes and would be taking my certification test on April 24th. She said that sounded good. Right now I'm just staying calm and playing it cool. I know if I get all worked up and worry over the interview that I'll have a meltdown. I don't need that right now. I'm nervous enough as is.
So guys, wish me luck!

We bought some of his marinades yesterday at the Fort Worth Home & Garden show and it's really good. It works best when you drizzle them over sour cream or cream cheese to make good dips.
Go check him out!
You gotta taste his dry seasonings. They are great over chicken and steaks.
