I found out yesterday, from a friend I work with, that another hospital in the area is hiring for an SPD position. Last night, as soon as I got home, I put in an application. Now we'll just have to wait and see.
This hospital is closer to home and rumored to pay better than where I am. As far as the pay goes, I hope so. More money is always a good thing. I do know that they require certification but they will help you get it. Not make you struggle on your own to find out all that you need.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
